(Their gloves)
(And this is Brodie wearing one of Cooper's old hats. So sweet! This is probably what he'll get to wear to the T-Ball game since Bro and Sis are on the "red" team hehe)
Everything else is going well. We've been working a lot on the basement since moving back in with my parents and things are coming along great. We've got the floor put in in the bathroom and kitchen; the bathroom now has working plumbing, a toilet, and a washer and dryer; we got the stove and the fridge put into the kitchen (No dishwasher yet. We still have to buy a dishwasher, but it's all ready for setup); and we have all the bottom cabinets lined out they way they'll be set up, so the kitchen almost looks complete except for mounting everything and installing a sink. After we put the final touches on the kitchen and basement we'll have an entire half complete! Then the other half is just living room and a bedroom, so it only needs flooring.
Progress:
(My dorky husband...LOL And you can see the tub in the background. Still needs faucet and tub surround.)
The kids are doing wonderfully as well. I believe all the teeth Brodie was cutting have come in or are at least partially in, so he has 12 teeth now! He's still having a rough time sleeping at night thanks to this ridiculous cold that's sticking around. They were all three sick with runny noses about 2 weeks ago and just got over it a few days ago, so it lasted about 10 days. They were all free and clear for approx one whole day and the damn thing came back with a vengence and brought along a friend...a yucky cough, so now they have runny noses AND a cough. No other symptoms though. No fever or anything. They're not even acting sick.Hopefully they'll be getting over it soon though so we can all get a little more sleep LOL
Oh and my parents got two new baby goats whom they kids just LOVE. They've been asking to get in the pen and play with them everyday. They're two boys, but we named them Lilo and Stitch. The all black one got to be Stitch because he's really ornery LOL Anyway, the kids have been going in their and feeding them and playing with them. We determined Chloe liked their food when she came inside the house with her breath smelling like caramel and we deduced she had eaten the mix which has molasses on it LOL Crazy girl.
Here they are: (Cooper my little rancher LOL)
And speaking of farming and ranching, Cooper has now taken to driving the lawn tractor around by himself. I have some super cute videos that Josh took, but they take forever to upload, so maybe I can get them on here soon. Anyway, we put in in "turtle" mode (the speed choices are labeled tiny turtle to large rabbit LOL) and we keep the blade up of course and just let him cruise around. He does great and just thinks it's the funnest thing EVER.
Only bad thing about Cooper's love of farm toys is that we have to hide all the keys from him because he knows how to start everything on his own. The day I went to take the kids for a ride on the 4-wheeler and Coop was sitting in front of me. I turned to Josh and said, "I don't know how to start this..." and Coop goes, "No worry. Me do it." and he turns the key, holds down the start button, gives it gas and it starts right up. Mommy's been schooled LOL
Well I guess that's about it for now. Just a quick little update on the house and the kiddos. Thanks for checking in and I'll be back soon to fill ya in on their first game!
