Ok time for a quick update on the kids. They're are doing great of course. Growing up too fast LOL
Cooper is really starting to take on the "big brother" role, bossing the other two around and bullying his little bro... Sometimes it's funny and sometimes it's not LOL The bossing I think is too cute, but then sometimes we have to say, "Okay Bud. Let mommy and daddy do that", like today Chloe was wanting to get down from the dinner table without eating and go lay in bed, so we kept telling her, "Eat some first, then you can go lay down", but she kept whinning and asking to get down so Cooper says, "No. First you eat your dinner THEN you go to bed!" LOL It was cute, but again, we have to try to teach him that he's not the boss. And the bullying little brother....yeah that's not very funny. He's not TOO mean to him, but he definitely pushes him around. Poor Brode :( Josh says he used to pick on Brian ALL the time, but of course now they're best buds, so hopefully it's just a phase... He's doing great with his ABCs and learning shapes and colors and numbers and even tries to "spell" stuff sometimes just saying random letters. LOL He's obsessed with cap guns and going outside to "shoot his shots" which is adorable. Oh and both the big kids have discovered computer learning games which is a blessing AND a curse since we practically have to pry the mouse out of their hands. Cooper really loves the paint/coloring stuff on there. And he LOVES to help mommy cook and bake. The other day we made cupcakes together. Brodie was napping and I tried to get Chloe to help, but she wanted to keep playing Umi Zoomi on the computer, so it was just Cooper and I. He did all the mixing and ingredient adding by himself (with my help measuring of course LOL) Even though Chloe wanted nothing to do with baking the cupcakes, she sure as heck wanted to eat 'em LOL
She's doing great as well. Turning into quit the little drama queen diva. She learned how to fake cry for attention which has become quite a difficult challenge for mom and dad. We have to weed out the fake crying from the real crying, and when we spot a fake we have to get her to stop and actually talk to us and ask for what she wants the right way without whinning, which she usually does most of the time if we just talk to her a bit and get her to calm down. Hopefully that's just a phase that she'll grow out of because I remember Cooper going through something similar. We're at about the same point with her potty training as when we left off. She's still wearing a diaper the majority of the time and will use the potty occasionally, but we're at the point where almost everytime she has an "accident" in the diaper she tells us that she should've used the potty, so I think we're inching a little bit closer. She's doing great with counting and ABCs and shapes and colors as well, and we've found her little niche. She LOVES animals, especially snakes. We were shopping at King Soopers and they were going bonkers, so we passed the toy aisle and I let them pick out a few things to keep themselves occupied and she wanted these two huge rubber snakes. Like actual scaly feeling rubber snakes. LOL She played with them the whole rest of the shopping trip and I even had to buy them ($5 a piece...) so she could take the home. She held them all the way home too LOL And then she went shopping with Grandma and Papa a few days ago and they bought her this little bag of plastic zoo animals and she went crazy over them! She played with them all night naming them off with Grandma and then just playing with them by herself. She's loves to play by herself just as much as she likes playing with the boys. She'll sit there and make the animals talk and have little conversations with them and tell them to go to sleep etc. It's just adorable. And speaking of playing with the boys, although Cooper is busying picking on Brodie, Chloe loves to play with him, and he's getting old enough now to where he can do a lot of things they do, like the other day him and Chloe were playing "tag" of sorts. He would chase Chloe for a little bit, then she'd turn around and chase him. So sweet.
And speaking of Brodie he is the sweetest little boy ever. He's so adorable and is such a snugger and boy does he love his Grandma! He'll snug up with everybody, but especially Grandma. He'll just lay his head down on her chest and just rest there and snug in. It's so cute. He's been snugging up to me quite a bit too which is so fun because Cooper is growing out of his snugging phase and doesn't really want to snug with momma anymore :( Sadness. They have to grow up sometime though right? Anyway, Bro is doing awesome. Walking like a champ and finally becoming a little less bow legged LOL He's talking A LOT and trying to say a bunch of new things and even trying to COUNT! Yes count! It's crazy. He's best at six and nine are the two numbers he says the most, so nothing in order yet, but he's trying. And he's so funny too. Yesterday he brought me each of my sandals one at a time handing them to me and saying "shoe" which I just thought was so cute and smart and then once I'd put both of them on he held his arms up for me to pick him up and said, "outside". He handed me my shoes so I would take him outside! So smart! So of course I did LOL He loves being outside just as much as the older too. They love all the farm animals and all their outside toys and especially going for rides on the four wheeler with daddy.
Anyway, that's pretty much what we've been up to around here. Kids just being crazy little buggers keeping us entertained and making us laugh and smile. Thanks for checking in everyone :)

The Potty Project: "Potty Princess" Part VIII
Mission: Potty Training
Mission Target: Chloe Poston
Mission Status: BACK IN BUSINESS!
Giving up on potty training was the best thing we could've done because apparently our little diva princess had plans of her own...
So as you all know, approximately 2-3 weeks ago we decided to take a break from potty training Chloe. We'd pushed hard for about 6 weeks with NO interest from her whatsoever, so we decided to stop for now and go back to it in a couple months. Well, a few days ago, approximately 2 weeks since we'd last said or done ANYTHING involving potty training, Chloe came up to me and said, "My go pee pee." She's never told me she had a wet/dirty diaper before so I was surprised at this, but thought she meant she wet her diaper so I clarified, "You peed in your diaper?" and she said, "No. My go pee in potty." I reached down to check her diaper and sure enough it was still dry, so I asked, "You need to go pee in the potty??" and she said, "YEAH!" and headed for the bathroom, ON HER OWN. She took her own diaper off and asked for the potty set which I put on the toilet and helped her up and she peed! I was in shock. She just progressed like 3 steps in a matter of minutes. She'd never told me when she needed to pee, she'd never gone to the bathroom on her own accord, and she'd never taken off her own diaper or underwear to go pee. Like I said, I was shocked, but it was just one day, one time, so I decided it was a fluke thing and maybe meant we could resume potty training sooner than expected...
So a couple days go by and it's now been two days since the initial "incident" and we're getting ready to go meet grandma for lunch when she does it AGAIN. The entire thing all over again. Tells me she has to pee, goes to the bathroom, takes her diaper off, I set her on the toilet, and she peed! I was shocked AGAIN! I was so freaking excited and I told her, "Chloe! Mommy's SO proud of you!" and she says all nonchalantly, "Thanks" and walks out LOL
So we leave and go into town to meet grandma at her work and we're standing at the car fixing to head to the restaurant and she says, "Mommy! My go pee pee potty!" so I run back inside and take her to the bathroom, but she'd already started to go in her diaper, which was okay, because at least she recognized that she was starting to pee her pants. Then she asked to again at the restaurant and I took her in their and heard some farts, but I think she was too uncomfortable to go. She ended up pooping her diaper like 5 minutes later, but at least she realized she had to poop and she even tried to go. Then she asked to pee again when we got home and peed on the potty at home.
I was just so freakin' proud of her! I couldn't believe it! This whole time we tried and tried and tried, pushed and pushed and pushed, but she wanted to do it ON HER OWN. She didn't want to be told what to do. Stinkin' little diva. She knew exactly what she was supposed to do and exactly what we wanted her to do, she just didn't want to listen. She wanted to take matters into her own hands. Cracks me up!
So it's been like this for a couple days that she's been randomly asking to go pee on the potty and she's been going. We haven't forced it all. We've just been letting her ask in her own time. She has fallen in love with the potty seat (the little cushion ring you put over the top of a regular toilet to make the opening toddler sized) and today I helped her get up and use it earlier in the afternoon. Well I had taken the ring off, but when I went in there to pee an hour or so later, the ring was back on... Cooper doesn't use the ring anymore and Brodie was sleeping, so I know he wasn't playing with it, plus there was pee in the toilet, so I'm like, "Hm....Chloe?" and I go to ask her. As soon as I walk up to her she says, "My go pee in potty. My use da seat!" I just started cracking up and again told her how proud I was! Then I wanted to know exactly what she was doing so I kept an eye on her for a bit and sure enough she walked into the bathroom by herself! I peeked in the door and the little booger is using the side of the bathtub to climb up onto the toilet and goes! I was just amazed!
So I got the stool out of the kitchen to put in front of the toilet for her, and I went in there with her, again to tell her how proud I was, and she kept getting up and down off the toilet and telling me she wasn't done, so I kept waiting with her and I heard her fart a couple times, but she'd get right down. I knew she had to poop, but was just nervous. Then finally she went in there one last time, hoped up there, said, "My go poo poo" and dropped like four turds into the bowl, then hoped right back down. LOL
I am seriously so proud of her! Not only for going potty, but for having such an adorable, vibrant, strong little personality to want to do it all by herself!

Cooper's Trip to Children's
(WARNING: Reader beware. This blogs contains graphic photos.)
Well we've officially had our first big "boo boo"... LOL
So yesterday afternoon Brodie was sleeping and Cooper and Chloe were chasing each other around the house like crazy kids. It was almost nap time, so they were all riled up and expelling the last of their energy. Josh was in the kitchen and I was in the computer room entering my lunch into my calorie log when Cooper came running in here. Not two seconds later, out of the corner of my eye, I see him falling, so I turn around in time to see the "second half" of the fall. I think he was trying to climb on the cat tree, but lost his footing on the bottom of it and he fell straight backward and smacked the back of his head right on the very edge of the bottom shelf of the bookcase...
I knew as soon as I saw him hit that it was either split already or it was about to split so I yelled for Josh to bring ice, but it was too late. As soon as he sat up blood was running down his head, onto his back, and dripping on the floor. I scooped him up and brought him to the kitchen where Josh had ice ready, but instead we grabbed a towel to get pressure. I took a look at it and it looked to be almost an inch long straight across, so I knew just by the length that he would need stitches so we started getting ready to leave. It was bleeding pretty good, but I knew head injuries bleed a lot so I didn't freak out. I called my mom to see what I need to do about the bleeding on the way to the hospital and she said to wrap it as best as I could. I couldn't find any wrap, but I made like a head band out of this finger bandage material and got it wrapped.
By the time we had his clothes on and got it wrapped the bleeding had slowed a lot which was a relief, so him and I loaded up and took off for the Children's Hospital. He hadn't napped yet, so about 10 minutes into the ride he fell asleep, which was a little concerning since he'd just hit his head, but I kept messing with him every few minutes all the way there and he'd stir a bit, so I again I wasn't too worried about it.
We got to the hospital in like 45 minutes and got checked in. I had to wake him up when we got there so he was a little out of sorts for a minute, but he came around. He started asking to go home, but I told him we had to have the doctor look at his head and see if it was okay, so from then on all he said was, "It's oh-tay", thinking that if it was "okay" we could go home LOL We saw the triage nurse who was asking him questions like, "What happened to your head buddy?" and he'd say, "Oh I fell, but it's oh-tay". LOL Then she said, "Does it hurt?" and he'd say, "Nope. It's oh-tay". Such a tough little man LOL Then she put a numbing cream on it so it would start working right away. She had brought her own wrapping, but she thought mine was cool enough to reuse, so she used mom's rigged up wrapping instead of her own LOL I was pretty proud of that.
We got taken back to a room and another nurse came in and kind of gave us the low down about how they're going to clean it and what not then she said something about staples. At this point I haven't even really seen the cut. I saw how long it was originally, but it'd been wrapped up most the time so I never really looked at. From what I'd seen I thought staples was probably kind of over kill, but hey I'm no doc so I didn't say anything. After that we started watching Bee Movie and waited for the doc. A resident came in, picked up the bandage, peeked at it, and also said something about staples...Hmm. Then the doctor came in, also peeked at it, and said, "Wow. He did this on a bookcase?! He got it good." At this point I'm getting kind of curious as to what exactly this cut looks like...but I don't want to mess with it.
They gave the cream a little more time to take effect then came in with all the stuff to clean it and do the staples. This is when things got difficult for Bubba and mommy...I had been preparing myself for it, so I tried to stay calm, but it's so hard when I could tell my little guy was hurting :( We had to have him lay on his stomach and put his head down to the side. I sat in front of him holding his hand, and at first he was upset when they tried to wash it, but he calmed down. After washing it, the three women (some combination of trauma nurses and a doctor I believe) started looking at it further and one said to the other, "She only wants staples? Are you sure she doesn't want deep sutures? We need to have her look again."
This is when I finally got a good look at the cut..."Cut" wasn't even the appropriate word. More like a gaping wound. It was huge and super deep. The deepest cut I've ever seen in my whole life. I was like in shock at this point, saying over and over again, "I can't believe that." I was trying not to really freak out or anything because Cooper was doing great. Just sitting on the bed watching Despicable Me LOL I didn't want to freak him out, but I couldn't believe the size of this cut. It was crazy.
Anyway, the doc came back in and looked again and moved it around and stuff, but even SHE wanted a second opinion, so she called in yet ANOTHER doctor who also looked at it and started saying, "Yeah. It's torn. Do the deeps then the staples." Now I'm kind of freaking out, but trying to contain it. The new doc turned to explain to me what he's talking about. He said the layer covering Cooper's scalp was ALSO split open and needed to be put back together with sutures on the inside to prevent infection. I was glad he explained it, but also kind of freaked out. The cut was clear to his freakin' skull! Insane. He had to have hit JUST RIGHT for this to happen. I still couldn't believe it and was kind of in shock, but also worried now because I know sutures are WAY harder to do than staples and now Bub had to have BOTH, and they had to go find someone specific to do it. The original trauma team could not place the internal sutures, so we waited for another doc to come.
Up until this point Cooper was doing great. Watching his movie, talking with me, sitting on my lap, hanging out, talking to nurses, telling 'em his story, everything, He was just doing awesome. But...the suture doctor arrived and it was time to do his sutures... I was scared for him, but really, really tried to stay strong and NOT freak out. They had two nurses holding him down and the doc tried to start the sutures. She got through once with the hook, but he started to freak out. She tried to get the hook through a second time, but he was moving too much and they had to call in two male EMTs to help hold him. It was terrible. They had two female nurses and two male EMTs holding him down and the doc was still barely able to do the sutures. I got him to open his eyes and look at me and squeeze my hand and he calmed down long enough for her to finish the hook part and she quickly tied off all the knots. She was actually very fast and I'm sure it went quicker than Cooper and I felt like it did. She finished the sutures and quick through in three staples on the outside and he was done. Just that fast.
They let him sit up and as soon as they stopped holding him he calmed down right away, so I know he just didn't want to be held down (what kid would?) and he wasn't really in pain. I picked him up and he said completely calm like, "Doctor fix me right up!" LOL All the docs and nurses were super nice and said he was absolutely the strongest kid they've EVER seen. They couldn't believe it took so many people to hold him down and he was still pushing them off, even the men LOL The doc left and came back with TWO Popsicles for him which he munched down on while they had to remove and replace one of the sutures that wasn't in the right spot, but that took all of 2.5 seconds and Coop just ate his Popsicle. Then they gave him a Beeny Baby snake which I immediately said, "Oh sissy will love that! Should we take it home to sissy?" because she LOVES snakes. Loves, loves, loves them, so I knew she would like that.
At this point grandma was off work and came to see us, so we got our papers and got ready to leave, then grandma suggested we go to Wal-Mart to pick out a new toy. Yay! In the car Cooper said he wanted a robot man, but once we got in the toy aisle he went right past the robot men (Transformers) and went straight for the Nerf guns, so grandma got him a new semi automatic Nerf gun that's batter powered and shoots like 10 darts at a time.
After we got home he told dad and papa all about his trip to the doctor and how they "fixed him right up" LOL Then we gave sissy the snake (which she played with ALL night and even took to bed LOL) and he got to open up his new toy. :)
He's doing great today, running around and playing like nothing ever happened. LOL He has to have the staples removed in a week and the sutures will dissolve on their own. So a pretty scary experience, but Cooper was very brave and was such a good little man. We're so proud of him!

Kid Quotes (# 21): A Collection of Short Stories
"The Dinner Machine"
So the other day we were all playing outside (me and the kids) and it was about to rain, so I told the kids to hurry up because we need to get in the house. I was carrying Brodie and the big kids were in front of me, and as we came around the side of the garage Chloe starts pointing over to the grill on the porch and says, "LOOK! The Dinner Machine!"
If only, if only... LOL
The End.
"A Midnight Snack"
Last night we're laying in bed and hear a funny noise. I'm a pretty light sleeper specially having the big kids in bed with us so I open my eyes and turn over...to find Cooper, in bed, watching TV, finishing off a Charleston Chew candy bar, and covered in chocolate...
So I say, "Cooper! What are you doing?!" to which he replies very simply, "My hungry." I said, "Well you can't eat a candy bar in the middle of the night!" and he says again, "But my hungry." (I'm dying trying not to crack up right now...) So I asked, "Well wasn't it dark out there? How did you get that?" and he says, "Yeah, but me climb on counter. Me hungry." Needless to say he had to be cleaned up and he fell asleep.
The End.
"Sucker Thief"
Yesterday we were at "the haircut place" (as the kids call it), for a second day in a row, getting Brodie's haircut fixed. Like I said, this was the SECOND day in a row we'd been there and the first day all three kids got suckers when Brodie was all done. Yesterday I had my mom (grandma) with me too. She was playing with Coop and Chlo while I sat with Bro getting his haircut. All the sudden Chlo shows up in front of grandma with a sucker... Grandma asks, "Chloe. Did you ask for that of did you just take it?!" to which Chloe replies with the diva-est of attitudes, "I just took it..." bringing snickers from grandma AND the rest of "the haircut place" waiting room...
Don't worry...She had to come back and ask nicely AND ask for one for Cooper too. :)
The End.

Update x3
So I thought it was time for a little update although there isn't too much going on right now...
For starters, we've obviously made our final decision NOT to start Cooper in preschool this year. Literally a "last minute" decision, and technically we could still enroll him even now if we really wanted to and they'd have to take him because he has a speech plan, but after much discussion we decided not to start him yet. A lot has changed in the last few months though. His speech is MUCH improved and I don't think he's behind at all anymore. In fact, I think if they did another evaluation right now he probably wouldn't even qualify for a speech plan anymore. His last evaluation was 8 months ago in January, so I know he has improved tremendously in 8 months. He's doing great. He's also completely potty trained now, which was surprisingly easy. We started him around March and he pretty much had it down within the first 8 weeks and has done great all summer. So although he's potty trained and probably would be ready to start preschool, we still have some hold ups regarding his "would be" teacher whom Josh has met now as well...I'd rather he start with the 4 year old teacher next year, so that's our plan is to start him next year with the 4 year old class.
As for Chloe, by this time next year, she'll be almost 4 herself, but not quite yet, so if we wanted to start them together we'd have to start him in the 4 year old class and her in the 3 year old class...so I'm guess she might not start until she's 4 either, which really isn't all that "shocking" to me because I was under the impression that kids didn't start preschool until 4 anyway. LOL So for now, nobody is starting school, but we may begin to look into "Toddler Time" or some other type of "class" they can attend to get some social interaction on a more regular basis. They do see kids in our family or at the park or the fountains or the mall, but nothing on a regular basis, so I think we'll look into that.
Back to Chloe though, she's becoming a bit of a handful lately. She's going through that "testing" phase where she's trying to test her boundaries with us. We'll tell her something and she'll just stare and give us one of her diva looks, which she really does have. She has such a big attitude for such a small girl LOL It's "cute" to an extent, but it's also difficult to handle because we're trying to be serious with her, but we also want to laugh at the same time. We can't always laugh though because one of the boundaries she's testing is hitting and throwing toys....big no no, so we definitely have to get serious with her then which is when she sticks out her bottom lip pouting and puts her hand down...Again, kind of want to laugh, but we have to stay firm. This has been going on for a couple weeks now so overall I think the boundary testing phase is coming to an end thankfully.
Although, not so thankfully, potty training has also come to an end... After about six straight weeks of training with no progress we decided she's just not ready yet. Mentally not ready at least. She's stubborn (one thing she got from me). She knows what to do and knows what we want her to do it, but she wants it done in her own time. That's my conclusion on it LOL Which, as much as I'd like her potty trained and out of diapers, it's really not up to me, so as long as she's trained before preschool, which at this point looks like she has another two years to work on it LOL, I'm more than happy to wait until she's ready. She has still been using the potty on occasion, but we're definitely not "pushing" it as hard as we were before. We'll probably give her a month or two then try again and see how it goes, but she'll come around when she's ready.
And lastly is little Brode man, who's also doing just great. His speech is REALLY taking off these days and he tries to imitate a lot of what we're all saying. It doesn't always come out exactly right, but it's definitely close enough that you can tell what he's saying. He has said pizza, pancakes, cheese, hot dog, and sis, all within the last few days, plus several more and a couple phrases too. He's drinking out of regular cups or sippy cups during the day, and still having a bottle at night, which I'm not TOO worried about just yet because he doesn't seem all that attached too it, so I don't think it will be as difficult to break him as it was to break Chloe. She'd STILL take a bottle if I let her LOL
Anyway, there's a little update on the kiddos for everyone, and as always, thanks for checking in!

Kid Quotes (# 20)
I was making the kids cheeseburgers for lunch and I had it almost ready so I told Cooper to go tell Chloe that her burger is ready. He turns around and yells, "Sissy! Your burger ready! Come eat!" She comes into the kitchen, and I said, "Here's your burger", and she goes, "Uh no. Me want chicken nuggets."
Diva *cough cough*
So I started to say, "Chloe, this isn't some made-to-order restaurant" and Cooper interrupts me, turns to her and says, "Yeah. This not a restaurant Sissy. This our house!"
I just died.
Oh, and she ate the burger. Picky kids-0. Mommy-1. :)

Kid Quotes (# 19) "Was that you?"
So early this morning I was still in bed with Chloe, Brodie was in his crib kind of/sort of awake, and Daddy and Cooper were upstairs. Well I rolled over a little bit, kind of like half asleep and I let one rip. "One" being a fart. It was fairly loud actually. I didn't think much of it so I continued to roll over, but after the fart sneaks out I hear Brodie's little voice go, "Daddy?"
Yep. That's how often my wonderful hubby farts. Our 15 month old hears a fart and just assumes it must've been dad. Love it.

The Potty Project-"Potty Princess" Part VII.5 Mini Update
Mission: Potty Training
Mission Target: Chloe Poston
Mission Status: In progress...
Just a short update for those curious how today went. I convinced Joshua to let Chloe wear her big girl undies out in public, and it went okay. She wore them all the way into town, no problem, then as soon as we got into the theatre I took her and Bub to the bathroom where they both went. Yay! Then we got our snacks and headed into the movie. She got through the entire movie just fine, but we were trying to clean up our mess and collect our stuff and we didn't get out of there in time and she had an accident in the theatre. Luckily the training pants are fairly absorbent, so it wasn't a big mess, and Josh took her into the bathroom to clean up. He sat her on the toilet, but she didn't go, so he just changed her clothes. After that they asked to play in the fountains and within ten minutes of being at the fountains (only about 20 minutes after her theatre accident) she had yet another accident in the grass. She just kind of squated and started peeing. *sigh* After this second accident we changed her into a Pull Up (mostly because that's all we had since I only brought one change of clothes LOL) and she stayed dry all the way home. At home she used the potty and put on her big girl undies again, but started to have another accident in the dining room, but stopped herself. Josh put her on the potty and she finished there.
So overall, I believe it was three hits and three misses today. Not awful, but not as well I was hoping for. She still doesn't seem to be extremely bothered by having an accident and isn't at all interested in telling us that she has to go, which makes me worried that she's not quite ready, but since she doesn't seem to have a problem USING the potty and isn't resisting it, I think we'll just keep plugging away at it.
And just for fun....

The Potty Project-"Potty Princess" Part VII They're Here! They're Here!
Mission: Potty Training
Mission Target: Chloe Poston
Mission Status: In progess...
Chloe's new big girl underwear are finally HERE! Got 'em in the mail yesterday. Of course, she had not taken a nap all day and had been dosing off in the chair when grandma brought them in, so she was not in the mood to see 'em when she woke up. Although (little side note), she'd only been napping for about 20 min and then she sat straight up all the sudden and seemed okay, but a few minutes later she started whinning and crying a little. I asked Josh if she had a diaper or anything on and he said, "No", so I suggested she probably had to go to the bathroom, so he put her on the potty and she WENT. A lot. So she woke up mid nap in order to go potty! Pretty big step! Not something I'll expect all too frequently, but we were still very proud of her.
Anyway, back to the training underwear. We got two packs for three pants each and she opened 'em this morning. They're a size 3T, the biggest they had, and seemed to fit fairly well. They fit okay in the back and of course have a ton of extra room in the front, but that's to be expected LOL She was really excited about 'em and seems to like 'em. She wore 'em for about 30 minutes before I asked Josh when was the last time she'd been on the potty. He said it'd been a whlie so we decided to put her on it. She'd been playing in the room with Bubba and didn't necessarily want a "time out" to go potty, but the second I set her on there she starte peeing a ton, so I'm pretty sure she'd been holding it, so as not to go in her new underwear! Yippee! (Oh and I should update to say that we've gotten past the "pee on command" thing. I can now say, "Okay let's go to the potty", and she will hold it until we get to the seat, which is helpful because I can now tell her to go to the potty and allow her to walk in there on her own, bringing us one step closer to her actually going into the bathroom by herself.)
Anyway, we're going on a "family outting" today since it's Josh's day off, and I haven't checked with Joshua yet, but personally I'd like to allow her to go out in her new big girl pants and see how she does today. Hopefully I can clear that with my boss (*wink wink* because we all know who the REAL boss is).
So here are her new underwear!

Toddler Bed was a...BUST
So we made our first attempt at moving Brodie into a toddler bed today and it was a complete bust. Well maybe not a "complete" bust, but a bust none the less.
I first put him down for his first nap (he usually takes two still) at about 10am. I laid him in the bed with his baba and put Gnomeo and Juliet on (he likes a little "background" noise). I left and didn't hear a peep from him for like 30 minutes so I decide to check on him. Awake. LOL He was still in the bed though which I thought was pretty good, but he had pooped, so I figured that was probably what kept him from going to sleep. Of course he climbed down as soon as he heard the door open, so I brought him upstairs, let him play some more, fed him some lunch, then gave all the kids a bath.
After his bath I made another attempt at a nap at about 12:30pm. I again laid him down with a baba and left his movie on for him. He laid right down without a problem and appeared to be getting cozy. Not another peep for 30 minutes so I went to check on him again...awake. LOL This time he'd gotten out of bed and was playing with Handy Manny tools, so again I brought him BACK upstairs and let him play some more.
About 2:30pm I gave him a snack, then brought him downstairs to try yet again. Again 30 minutes passed, went to check...awake, and had pooped again. What the heck? So at this point I've given up on a nap for him. He doesn't seem cranky at all, so hey, I'm just going to let him play...
About 5pm rolls around he Daddy finds him asleep on the guest bed LOL, so we bring him downstairs again. He wakes up a little, but looks as if he's going to go back to sleep...nope. Ten minutes later I hear him at the bottom of the stairs with poop AGAIN. Now I'm thinking he has to have some sort of stomach bug because that's too much pooping.
He's been awake the rest of the night, had one more poop (now diarrhea), and we tried to put him in bed AGAIN about 8:15pm, but yet again he was still awake when we checked on him, so I guess we'll have to put the crib back and forget the toddler bed for now LOL I don't know if it was just a "bad day" to start with all the pooping and what not, but he's only 15 months so we'll try again sooner or later.
He's definitely attached to his crib though. He loves going to bed (nigh nigh) and loves playing in it and will just stay in there and play or watch morning cartoons with the big kids no problem. It's funny because Josh actually pointed out each of their "security blankets". Cooper's was the pacifier (his ninny) that he had til he was 2, Chloe's was the bottle (just finally broke her of it earlier this year), and Brodie's is apparently his crib. LOL
Anyway, here's little man in the big boy bed :)

The Boys
Since the focus of my blogs lately has been PTing Chloe, I thought I'd also do a short update on the boys :)
They're both doing well and of course still growing like weeds.
We spent the last several months growing Coopers hair out so we could once again give him that "typical boy haircut" and do things like a faux hawk etc. only for him to cut his own hair last week. *sigh* Josh had been asking me to once again give Cooper a short haircut, back to a one with the clippers, but I really wanted it grown out and when it comes to things like that mommy prevails *insert evil laugh*, BUT Josh was giving himself a haircut and Cooper asked if he could cut his own hair. Well I'm pretty sure that Josh conveniently "turned a blind eye" toward Cooper and semi-"allowed" him access to his facial clippers at which point Cooper took a chunk off the top of his head therefor "forcing" Daddy to complete the "haircut" and give him a no gaurd all around. *insert eye roll* Of course I wasn't too thrilled with this at first, but now that Cooper's hair has darkened up quite a bit, it doesn't look as bad as I thought. It actually looks cute if I must be honest...
And Brodie's doing just swell also. Really coming into the toddler stage now. He'll be 15 months here in a few days which is just INSANE. Soon I'll have to say he's a year and A HALF. Don't like that at all. My "baby" is growing up *tear*. But it is great to see him come into his little personality. He's starting to test the waters with us and is a major climber. Monkey monkey monkey. He has figured out how to climb on almost anything which has been pretty interesting. Of course HE thinks it's hilarious and loves us to chase him and come after him. He'll take something and run off with it just cracking up and waiting for us to chase him. And he's really really really trying to talk. He wants to have little conversations all the time. Mom and I were talking at the dinner table and he just kept chiming right in. LOL He's starting to feed himself with a spoon now (still turning it upside down, but he's getting SOME food in LOL) and I think he'll need to go to a toddler bed shortly. He's still in the crib in our room right now, but I'm thinking of switching it out for a toddler bed, but still having it in our room.
Overall things are going fairly well. The summer started of great, but now there are just too many damn mosquitos to even go outside half the time. We have to fog first and then load them up with bug spray just to even go outside for 10 minutes and they're STILL getting eaten up, so that's put quite a damper on outdoor play and swimming which is a bummer, but hopefully it will get better soon *fingers crossed* and we can resume outdoor activities as usual. We can still participate in trips to the fountains or the mall play area which we MAY just have to do tomorrow considering it'll be Josh's Sunday. Or...the pool at the rec center that'd be good too... Anyway, now I'm just rambling, but thanks for checking in everyone!

The Potty Project-"Potty Princess" Part VI Gerber Toddler?
Mission: Potty Training
Mission Target: Chloe Poston
Mission Status: In Progress...
Well this will be a short update, but upon concurring with my PTing buddy Amanda, I decided to purchase Gerber's "training pants" for Chloe. We were discussing the Pull-Ups and both agreed that because the are similar to a diaper and still absorb well, it keeps little one from feeling the "discomfort" of being wet or soiled and I think that's part of Chloe's issue right now is that if she wets or poops in the Pull-Up she really doesn't notice. So I got online and ordered 6 pairs of Gerber training pants. They're like underwear and are a cotton material, but have extra padding in the crotch to kind of absorb pee, but it doesn't absorb ALL of it and still gives the feeling of wetness, so those should be coming in the mail in a day or two :)
I think this will be a step in the right direction since today I had her in a pair of Cooper's underwear (not training pants, but regular underwear) and she did have a pee AND poop accident in them and I found her in the room standing very still with her legs apart and she wouldn't move so I know she was uncomfortable in the soiled undies. Plus I think she stopped herself from peeing all the way because I set her on the potty for good measure and she finished peeing, so I'm eager to try the training pants and see if that helps get her to the next step.
So apparently you can be a Gerber BABY and a Gerber TODDLER. Thanks Gerber! :)

The Potty Project-"Potty Princess" Part V
Mission: Potty Training
Mission Target: Chloe Poston
Mission Status: In Progress...
Things are going fairly well with PTing this week. We've only had two more poop "hits" since the initial poop in the potty and we've had several poop "misses" as well. Chloe poops quite a bit (always has) so it's hard to catch her every time. Plus it doesn't seem to bother her to poop in the Pull Ups, so that's a little difficult to get past.
The first poop "miss" was the next day after she had pooped in the potty. She had pooped in the Pull Up so I laid her on the bed to change her. I took it off and started my usual "speech". Now mind you, I never want to make her feel ashamed or embarrassed, but I still want to "teach" her as we go, so I say these things as nice as possible in my "teacher" voice, not my "you're in trouble" voice. Anyway, I said, "Uh oh. You pooped in your Princess Pants. Where are you supposed to poop?" I waited for her to say, "In the potty", but Cooper broke in... Let me preempt this by saying that Cooper has gotten into this "disciplinary" phase. He thinks he's "in charge" of the two younger kids and often tries to reprimand them, so...He says to Chloe, "You pooped in your pants! You posed to poop in the POTTY! You pooped you pants! Now you not a big girl anymore! You go sit a corner til you poop in the potty!"
Now again, we do not use "the corner" as a punishment for poop or pee accidents. We have no punishment at all really, but we do use "the corner" for other things, like hitting, so apparently Cooper thought "the corner" would be the appropriate punishment for Chloe. LOL I think he thinks "the corner" is an appropriate punishment for everything though. This is off the PTing topic, but Brodie has now learned how to climb up the kitchen chairs and onto the kitchen table. He thinks it's a game. Well he got up there the other day and we took him down, then Cooper started "disciplining" him and walked him over to the corner. LOL Of course, Brodie walked right out, but it was still funny. Although it IS cute, Cooper's disciplinary days will soon come to an end. Josh had to tell him today, "Thank you Cooper, but Daddy can handle it" LOL
So, back to PTing, on a good note, we haven't had ANY pee accidents (aside from waking up from one nap and one morning wet). She's using the potty every time we set her on there which is great, and she even peed in the potty at King Soopers! First public potty for her! We were all shopping and Daddy had to go so he took Chloe and Cooper with him. Brodie and I messed around looking at herbal supplements and Daddy came out and told me she went! I was super excited, not only for her, but because Josh got to be a part of a milestone for her. He was at work when she had her first "poop in the potty" and I know he hates when he misses stuff like that. I know pooping in the toilet isn't quite as big as "first words" or walking or anything, but it IS a big deal for us parents.
Oh! And I found a size 4T-5T generic brand "Pull Up" to fit her bulky butt. I bought a 44 pack, but the only problem I've noticed with them is they're white like a diaper. They DO have designs on them and the little fading flower, but for a two and half year old, they still look like a diaper. At least the Pull-Up brand was BRIGHT pink with the Disney Princesses on them so she was able to understand that those were her "Princess Pants" and they were different than a diaper so that kept her from peeing in them. Although we haven't had any accidents in the new "Princess Pants", I still don't like that they look so much like a diaper. She even said, "This my Princess diaper??" so she knows the difference. We MAY just have to go back to the Pull Up brand...
Although she's doing well, the only thing I worry about is that she seems to have no interest in taking herself to the potty just yet, but just because she's not onto the next step YET, doesn't mean she's not ready to be potty trained, so as long as she's not resisting the potty, we're going to just keep it up :)
Anyway, that's the potty update for now. Thanks for checking in everyone!

Kid Quotes (# 18) "Pop Quiz"
So we're sitting around the dinner table; me, Josh, Grandma, Papa, Cooper and Chloe (Bro was already in bed) and we'd just finished eating and Josh asks me to bake off some cinnamon rolls. Of course I agree to do so and Grandma says to the kids, "Mommy's making cinnamon rolls! Mommy's THE MAN!" After which Cooper looks at me quizzically and asks, "Mommy you man?" We all chuckle a bit so Grandma asks Cooper, "Is mommy a man or a woman?" He looks confused, so she asks, "Is mommy a boy or a girl?" Now of course he's old enough to know the difference between a boy and a girl and 99.9% of the time "labels" people correctly, so he says, "A girl". At this point it's just cute to watch them answer, so we work our way around the table and let him answer...
"Is Papa a boy or a girl?"
"Boy."
"Is Daddy a boy or a girl?"
"Boy."
"Is Grandma a boy or a girl?"
"Girl."
Then Papa says, "WHY is Grandma a girl?"
Cooper looks at Grandma and responds very matter of fact, "Because your name's Grandma."
I know these little "conversations" can sound kind of silly to some, but A) I think it's good to get their little minds cranking even with silly little things, and B) it's just hilarious to hear what they come up with sometimes.

The Potty Project-"Potty Princess" Part IV Poop In My Butt
Mission: Potty Training
Mission Target: Chloe Poston
Mission Status: In progress...
I'm so freakin' excited right now! Chloe JUST pooped on the potty! Ah!!!!!!!
I've been waiting for her to do it and I know if she could just poop on there ONE time she'd get the hang of it and start doing it all the time. I just didn't know how to get her do it though. The other day I suggested to Josh that we just let her go naked, but he was too concerned that she'd pee on the floor. We'll Daddy is back to work today so Mommy is in charge *insert evil laugh* so I went ahead and let her go naked. I've been making sure all morning to get her to the potty as often as possible to avoid any peeing on the floor and she's done great. No pee accidents at all.
Now like I said in my last blog she always poops in the morning, so I've been watching all morning for any signs, but the morning slowly came and went. I was beginning to get concerned that maybe she had to poop, but was holding it in. I was even considering putting a Pull Up back on her because I didn't want her stomach to get upset from holding in poop, but she didn't seem uncomfortable in anyway, so I thought I'd give it a little longer, and...
I was right. She came up to me a few minutes ago pulling on my arm saying, "Mommy, Mommy" like she wanted something, but she didn't say what. Just as I was about to ask her what she needed I smelled something... poop. My first thought was that she had pooped somewhere and it was on her dress, but her dress was still clean. Then I realized it was a fart. She had just farted. The sign I've been waiting for! So I asked, "Chloe do you need to poop?" Now everytime I ask her this she ALWAYS says "No" without fail, but this time she didn't say "No". She just looked confused, so I asked her again and she started grabbing her butt cheek, so I picked her up to take her to the potty and asked, "Sissy do you have poop in your butt?" to which she finally replied, "YES! Poop in my butt!" and continued to grab her butt. (Sometimes it's all about asking the questions in a way your kids will understand LOL)
I set her on the potty and walked out to get toilet paper and before I even got back to the door she was shouting, "I POOP ON THE POTTY! I POOP ON THE POTTY!" And low and behold there was poop in the potty! Yes! She asked to dump it out and then said, "Poop all gone" LOL
Oh my gosh! I know it sounds a little silly, but I'm so freakin' stoked right now! Sometimes it's just the littlest things that make being a parent so worth while! I'm so proud of her! I hope this is the little boost of confidence she needs to get through PT Boot Camp for good!
Go Chloe! We're so proud of you Princess!

The Potty Project-"Potty Princess" Part III
Mission: Potty Training
Mission Target: Chloe Poston
Mission Status: In progress...
So the past few days of potty training have been going pretty well. Hardly any pee accidents at all. I've learned a few lessons though...
1) If you say anything even remotely close to "go pee" or "go potty" or "let's go to the potty" or "do you need to pee pee?"....She'll just pee. Right then and there LOL So...we've had to just start picking her up, taking her to the bathroom, and sitting her on the potty without a word until she's ON the potty. The other morning she woke completely dry and I was carrying her on my hip up the stairs, and I made the mistake of saying, "Ok let's hurry and go potty!" I immediately felt "warmth" on my hip O_o She had just started peeing in the diaper. Ooops. I couldn't get her to the potty in time, but I set her on their anyway, for good measure.
2) Pull Ups work a little differently for girls than they do for boys. We all know that there are several steps to potty training and pooping in the potty is one of the "final" steps in my opinion so it doesn't always come as quickly as peeing on the potty. At this point we haven't been able to get Chloe onto the potty at the exact right time to poop yet, so she's still having poo poo "accidents" in her pants. Now with diapers they's "snug" against baby's bottom, but not necessarily tight. Pull Ups are a bit different though. They're meant to fight and fell more like underwear so they're tight up against the body. Now mind you have Chloe in the largest size Pull Up I could find. 3T-4T I believe, so they're by no means "small" on her, but given the immense size of her behind, they are a tight fit. Anyway, I don't know if you're seeing my point yet, but given the fact the Pull Ups fight snuggly, whenever Chloe has a poop accident it seems to...uh...spread...the poop everywhere within the training pants. I don't remember this being a problem with Cooper, but with Chloe...yeah. We have to go straight to the tub after almost every poop accident, so I'm going to have to find a way to work around this. I know Chloe poops everyday in the morning. Always before noon, so I suggested this morning that we let her go nakey until she poops, but Josh is too worried about her peeing on the floor. I'll have to figure something out though or hopefully she can pick up on pooping in the potty quickly.
Cooper has reverted to his training potty half the time now since that's what sissy is using, which is fine with me. As long as he's using A potty, I don't care. It's been helpful though because he's pooped in the potty twice since we started working with Chloe so we've been able to show Chloe the poop in the potty and have her help dump it in the toilet so she gets the idea.
This morning she woke up completely dry once again and Josh got up to the potty in time. It's really funny when she uses the potty because she'll sit there and talk and talk and talk to you until she starts peeing, then she shuts up real quick and makes this "OH" face. I wish I had a picture of it because it's so cute. She makes that face the entire time she's peeing and doesn't say a word until she's done, at which point she hops up announcing "My go pee pee!" She's using the potty every single time we put her on there even if it's just a little bit, so that's great.
We even tried a public potty yesterday, but she'd already peed in her Pull Up on the way to the store. We were at King Soopers, so I just let her sit on the potty anyway. She's really great about that. She sat there for several minutes even though she didn't end up going and I told her it was a good try and she got to flush and wash her hands.
We'll keep up like this for now, as far as, just putting her on the potty. The next steps we're looking for are for her to either A) tell us when she has to go potty or B) go into the bathroom and use the potty on her own. The only problem we have with choice B right now is that Chloe seems to have a hard time getting her Pull Ups off. Not just the Pull Ups but underwear too, so until she gets the hang of that we'll continue to help her out.
Anyway, I'm pretty excited that we've been able to work with her this long and hopefully this is it for Chlo Bear. *fingers crossed*
So thanks for checking in and be sure to check back for more Potty Princess updates!

T-Ball Season Comes to an End
So Pee Wee T-Ball has officially come to an end. Cooper and Chloe's last game was supposed to be last Friday, but after all the rain we've had they determined the field was still too damp, so they rescheduled for tonight. Unfortunately, it was once again sprinkling outside, so they didn't get to play at the real baseball diamond, but we got moved inside the rec center gym, which was pretty interesting...
Of course it was a new environment so all the kids got amped up and going crazy, plus they had some miniature jungle gym sort of play thing in there which the kids all flocked too. It was kind of like a small version of the tubes you would find at McDonald's PlayPlace except there was only one entrance/exit combo thing, which was a slide. It had like 6 compartments that you climb through like a maze, but was super tiny like for kids under 4 I'd say. To me it just screamed fire hazard. First off, the mesh was colored either blue, yellow or red, and both blue and yellow were extremely difficult to see through, so you could hardly tell where in the maze your child was. Then each of the compartments was so small I'd be nearly impossible for an adult to climb through to get their child. Not to mention the one entrance/exit combo thing. If there was a fire or some sort of emergency situation and you needed to get your chlid out quickly you'd be in BIG trouble. At least the things at McDonald's are plenty big enough for parents to navigate and get to their children. Anyway, that's my little "mommy rant" for the day. We let Bro play on the slide part and Cooper and Chloe went in there for a bit, but luckily we were able to coax them out just as the game was starting.
It was a little difficult tonight just because all the kids wanted to run throughout the gym and get back into the play maze, so attentions were definitely elsewhere. Brodie gave my mom a run for her money, refusing to be held and running around like a mad man. She said he was watching the other boys play basketball on the other end and desperately wanted to join. It sucks that he's not quite old enough to do the things Cooper and Chloe are already doing, but it won't be long until he's right there with them.
We got through the game though then kids high fived the other team and got their medals. There is room on the back for engraving so eventually we may have them engraved with their names and year. We also got their sports pics back which turned out adorable and hilarious at the same time. In the team pic both Coop and Chloe are just hanging out, doing their own thing. Chloe did great for her individual pic and posed just like the photographer instructed. She had the perfect little pose and smile and looks just like the adorable little diva that she is! Cooper on the other hand had just been awoken from a nap in the car and wanted nothing what-so-ever to do with picture taking. He wouldn't pose by himself at all, but luckily the photographer worked with us and thought to have him sit on Josh's knee, then crop Josh out as best as possible. Even though we got him in front of the camera he most certainly wasn't going to smile so we got the most hilarious "I'm not going to do anything you say" face ever. Almost looks like an "angry sports shot" like, "I'm gonna kick your butt dude!" Freakin' funny!
After the game they got snacks and snow cones and Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, and Papa checked out their pics. Overall I think it was a very successful season. I think the kids learned a lot about team play and team work, following directions, and taking turns. In general I think it was just a very good learning experience and as much as I miss all my kids being "babies" (yes, even my little Brodacious is considered a toddler now *tear*) it's neat that they're in a stage where they can start participating in things like this. They really do grow up so fast, but it's such a thrill to watch!

The Potty Project-"Potty Princess" Part II
Mission: Potty Training
Mission Target: Chloe Poston
Mission Status: In progress...
Ok so I'm starting a new set of Potty Project blogs, specifically "Potty Princess", for Chloe's training (I'm calling it Part II because technically I already did one "Potty Princess" already). Like I said in yesterday's Kid Quotes, I've got new drive to try to potty train Chloe again after reading a friend's blog who is trying to potty train her daughter (Thanks again Amanda for that little push!). It's been about 6 months since our very first try potty training Chloe so of course she's grown a lot physically and mentally since then, so I figured why not give it a shot once again. A real shot, not just "let's just see what happens", but really working with her and trying to get her toilet trained.
Yesterday was her first day and I'm still debating the best way to go about things. I don't want to let her go nakey all day because last time we tried this she just peed on the floor. She's okay nakey for a little bit at a time, but not all day. Again, she's older now and her bladder is bigger and can hold more, so I don't know if she'd still do that now, but I'd rather not chance it. See with Cooper it was easy for him to go nakey because if he started to pee I could easily see it. He'd usually stand there and stick his hips forward, so I could usually nab him up before he even started peeing. Now with Chloe, since she's a girl obviously, if she starts peeing it just runs down her leg and makes a puddle underneath and I don't even notice until I either see or find the puddle, so yeah, don't really want to try that if I can avoid it.
So that leaves us with either underwear or Pull Ups. She wore underwear yesterday and today and had no "pee pee" accidents. She did have a poop accident in her underwear this morning. Luckily it was a hard poop and I think it was actually a good thing because when I went into the room she was standing completely still with her legs apart and didn't want to move so I could tell it was really uncomfortable for her to have poop in her underwear, which she might remember next time she goes to poop. We did dump it into the toilet together and discussed that poop goes in the toilet. Although it was probably a good learning experience, this brought me to the conclusion that Pull-Ups will work best at this point. The still pull up and down like underwear, but in case of an accident, it's easier to clean up. Plus the brand name ones have Disney Princesses on them which she LOVES, so I've taken to telling her that if she keeps her Princess Pants dry then she gets to keep them, but if they get wet them we have to throw them away, which I think is working well because she's used the potty three times just since I brought home the Pull Ups today.
She has yet to tell me that she has to go, so we're at the stage where I'm just talking her to the potty every so often and waiting until she goes which is working out great because even if she doesn't have to go she will sit there for awhile and "try".
Anyway, she's doing well and seems to be getting a little more excited about it now, so all I need to do is keep up with it and see how she does :)

"Fill It In Friday" # 3
1. I am a (morning, evening, middle of the day) person... Um...neither. I wake up and get going pretty easily, so I'm not a "not a morning person". I'm probably most productive mid-day, but that's mostly because one or more of my little ones may take a nap which gives me time to do stuff. I'm definitely not an evening person. About 6pm rolls around and I really start getting sleepy.
2. My favorite Pandora stations are... I have to start out by saying if I didn't read the answers that were on here when I copy and pasted it, I'd have no idea what Pandora is, but after reading the previous answers, it rang a bell. I don't use/listen to Pandora stations because A) I'm really not all that interested in music and B) I don't like headphones or having them in because I can't hear what's going on around me and C) I don't like music playing because again, I can't hear what's going on around me, which, as a SAHM, is pretty important for me to be able to do. LOL I know Josh listens to them on the drive to and from work and he lets the kids listen to the Disney music one sometimes.
3. 3 of my “must-have” songs for a road trip playlist are... again, I'm not like a HUGE music fan. If I was to go on a road trip I'd listen to Alice 105.9 most of the time. I'd of course listen to Slacker and Steve, but in the evening when Kim Iverson comes on...uh no. Station will be changed for sure.
4. My favorite pattern is... Well I don't have a favorite pattern, but my first thought upon reading this was "Pattern Power!" My kids have a new love for Team UmiZoomi on Nick and the girl character has a dress that changes into different patterns. Chloe loves that part of the song. "Pattern of...butterflies!" She loves butterflies LOL
5. My favorite perfume is... I hardly ever wear perfume, but Josh will usually get me a bottle of Curve for Christmas and I'll wear that until it runs out. I will use a "body mist" occasionally, but perfume, not very often.
6. Rules are... rules. I'm not a huge fan of "rules". As a parent I think I'm supposed to have quit a few "rules" set out for my little ones, but really I don't. Of course we have the basics like no hitting, pushing, kicking, biting (that's a tough one for Coop sometimes). And of course nothing "dangerous", but otherwise I'm pretty laid back with the rules, which will probably bite me in the butt once they start school, so I've already had to buckle down a little bit and try to enforce things a little more.
7. My most overused phrase or punctuation is... Phrase is LOL or IDK (when texting). Punctuation would be... 1) would be ... 2) "quotation marks" and 3) (parenthesis), as I'm pretty sure has been made fairly clear in my blogs LOL (there I go again with the LOL...and the parenthesis...DAMN IT!)

Kid Quotes (# 17) Cooper on "Potty Training"
Inspired by a friend (Amanda HeHe) I decided to put Chloe on the potty this morning. We haven't really been doing too much as far as potty training (PT) her recently, but, like I said, I've been inspired by a friend trying to PT her daughter. I sat on the big potty and put Chloe on her pink potty in front of me. Her diaper was super full, so she'd already peed in it, but hey you have to start somewhere right? She didn't go on the potty, but I took her in the bedroom to put on her "big girl" Minnie Mouse undies. That's one thing I did with Cooper was either have him go nakey or wear underwear. I was in the middle of telling Chloe, "You CAN'T pee pee in your big girl underwear" when Cooper walked in.
He asks, "Sissy wearing underpairs?"
So I say, "Yes. Sissy is wearing underwear. We have to show her how to use the potty like a big girl. You want to help me teach her how to use the potty like you do?"
Then Cooper turns to Chloe and says, "Yeah. You just take out your weiner and pee! Like me do!"
I seriously died. Seriously.
